What Open Lifts is

Open Lifts publishes real observed, reconstructed and forecast lift/piste openness data for a curated set of European ski resorts. No number on this site is a guarantee. Estimates are always labelled as estimates. how it works.

No guarantees

Open Lifts never guarantees, promises or assures any snow, opening, or lift-count outcome. A snow or opening guarantee is a regulated financial product; we do not sell one, verbally or in writing.

Pricing and renewal

The trip pass (€19.99, 30 days) is a single completed purchase: it never renews and nothing is charged again after it ends. The annual pass is €79 for its first year (list price €99), and renews automatically at the full €99 on the purchase anniversary — not €79 again — unless cancelled first. A reminder is sent at least 14 days before every renewal charge, and cancellation is one click, reachable without contacting support.

Refunds

Refund on request, no questions asked, within 14 days of purchase.

Affiliate disclosure

Some outbound booking links (accommodation, ski passes, package holidays) are affiliate links: Open Lifts may earn a commission on a completed booking made through them, at no extra cost to you. This never affects which resorts are shown or how their data is presented.

No warranty on data

Data is provided "as is". Observed data reflects what a resort's own source reported at the time; reconstructed and forecast figures are model estimates, explicitly labelled, and carry the uncertainty stated wherever they appear. (/accuracy).

Legal entity and jurisdiction

To be completed before commercial launch: operating company name, registered address, VAT number (if applicable), and governing jurisdiction. Not yet finalized — nothing is invented here in the meantime.
