FAQ
How we forecast your dates, and the questions people ask most.
Our forecasting model is trained on a large history of how every resort actually performed — lifts and pistes open, snow, weather, school holidays and crowds, day by day across past seasons. For your dates it finds the conditions most like them and tells you how much will be open and how busy it will be, as an honest range. The closer your dates, the sharper the forecast.
Forecasts are estimates, not guarantees — on the day, always check the resort’s own board before you ski.
What the model learns from
Lifts and pistes open in past seasons, snow depth and snowfall, weather, school holidays across Europe and how busy each resort got — for every day of the season, at every resort.
Independent
Not owned by any resort or lift operator. We earn from the Annual pass and partner commissions — neither changes what we show or how we rank.
Booking partners
Booking links go to partners and each resort’s official ticketing partner. A commission may be paid to us at no extra cost to you. We don’t sell anything directly.

Our model learns from a large history of each resort’s real performance — lifts and pistes open, snow, weather, holidays and crowds — so it knows how a resort behaves in conditions like yours. Every forecast is a range, not a single guess, and it narrows as your dates get closer and the snow and weather forecast takes over. It’s an estimate, not a guarantee: on the day, check the resort’s own board before you ski.
